Looking back over the past few months of life and my adaptation to the changes i have made within my self and my music, i would have to say that one of the biggest changes I have made is based on further education towards music and the artistic industry that it is and the mastering and production of a better quality sound.

On a personal level for myself,I truely believe that these songs represent different emotions such as love, happiness, sadness, forgiveness and loneliness. DjSnakes's expression through his art form has been marvellously constructed into the quality and the sheer immediate good vibes all 3 of these songs can bring to your body, simply by just pressing play on your listening device.
"DjSnake also known as William Sami Etienne Grigahcine (born June 13th 1986 in Paris France)"(wikipedia 2018),is a trap music, EDM music and French house music DJ and producer.
William has been an active main stream artist since the summer of 2009 and has since been signed to various labels such as Interscope Records, Mad decent (diplo's label),Columbia records, Spinnin records and also included to his own label that "DJSnake created in the spring of 2018 known as Premiere Classe Records.
So what is it you ask that I find inspirational about this artist with in the sound that he creates in his own style and why is it that his music and his influences are so inspiring to me and the sounds i produce personally?
The main things I draw from DJSnake's sound's are
1: Bass lines
2: Vocal looping/Synths.
3: Arpeggiators and the sounds created within this plugin
So lets talk more about these individual inspirations and what it is about that inspiration that I draw from his sound.
What is a bass line?
A bass song is a piece of music that contains low frequency notes, or bass.
"Bass notes can be acoustic, but within the term "bass song" they are usually synthesised, typically sine waves or very similar. A bass sound or instrument is the deepest"(websters dictionary-google 2018)
The word bass has two main meanings with separate pronunciations — bass with a high vowel sound (like base) ironically refers to very low sounds — bass instruments and singers are in the lowest part of the musical range, like the low rumble of a bass guitar. Bass in production comprises of being the lowest frequencies in music and music production.
Williams ability to take any sample recording he makes and then use the various plugins built with-in his DAWS system to create his bass lines through synthesis is inspiring to me because of the difference in tempo, tone and pitch that he has mastered through time and good management in every song that he has produced and shared within various musical platforms.
What is vocal looping?
"In electronic music, a loop is a repeating section of sound material. Short sections of material can be repeated to create ostinato patterns".(Websters dictionary-google 2018)
Vocal Looping although people tend to think it is relatively new has been around for at least the last 15 years but has only really been included in music in a main stream aspect for roughly the last 8-10 years, vocal loops can be used for so many different effects with in the harmonies of your songs structure when creating In electroacoustic music, electro house or really any EDM music. A vocal loop is a repeating section of sound material. Short sections of material can be repeated to create ostinato patterns and various harm ones within a vocal structure.
DjSnake has been known to use his own voice within his vocal looping techniques and i think that in all 3 tracks i've used as examples for this presentation the vocal looping aspect of harmonics and arpeggiated productional sound can be determined and heard quite prominently.
What is an Arpeggiators?
"Arpeggiators are perhaps one of the simplest and most audibly recognisable sequencing tools available. In essence an arpeggiator is a very basic real-time sequencer designed to take a chord as an input and turn it into an arpeggio".(websters dictionary-google 2018)
Originating in the early days of hardware synthesisers, the arpeggiator’s simplicity and immediacy has ensured that it’s found favour with musicians ever since its introduction into the music world.Every DAW including logic have a variety of different plugins including Arpeggiators that I would highly recommend using and learning how to utilise if you really wish to make your sound pop..This particular sequencing tool is a personal fav of mine along with vocal looping.
"One often-overlooked feature of the arpeggiator is the PC2 Found in logic pro x .This can be a lot of fun to play with and you can get many interesting and unusual effects from it. Basically, an arpeggiator takes notes that you play and repeats them in a pattern. Typically, you might use it to arpeggiate chords that you play, but it can have other uses such as playing percussion patterns, other instruments or vocal looping .
DJ Snake has been known to use the (SL3) to master his tracks.(wikipedia 2018)please note that as an artist DJ Snake is very private about his creative process and his mastering and eq techniques). This is only a basic guideline to his creative process only, found through investigative research online.
